The sub-junior judo state championship will start in Kanhangat on Saturday. The two-day competition will be held in the Chinmaya Mission School Auditorium. 500 players from 14 districts will participate in the competition in the men’s and women’s categories. Prior to the inauguration, a proclamation procession was held in the city on Friday evening. 12. Children’s body weight will be checked on the 30th. President KV Sujata will open the program at 4 pm. Accommodation is provided at AC Kannan Nair School, Melongkot for boys and Chinmaya Vidyalaya for girls. The competition is in 18 weight categories. Organizing Committee Chairman MK Vinod Kumar, Officials PV Balakrishnan, Pratap Lal, Ajayakumar Nellikat, P Narayanan, Babu Kunnath and Kunhikannan Melangkot attended the press conference.
