The national coach announced this afternoon the list for the friendly matches against Argentina and Japan

The Spanish women’s soccer coach, Jorge Vilda, offered this Friday the call-up of the national team for the friendly matches against Argentina and Japan. As expected, the coach has still not summoned the group of 15 players who gave up playing with La Roja through an email sent to the Federation (FEF). Nor are Jenni Hermoso or Irene Paredes.

Vilda bets on the group that beat the United States in Pamplona 2-0. The main novelties on the list are Alejandra Bernabé (Real Sociedad), Fiamma Benítez (Valencia), Inma Gabarro (Seville) and Salma Paralluelo (Barcelona), cited despite the fact that she has physical discomfort.

Spain will host Argentina in Melilla on November 11 and will face the Japanese team four days later at the Olympic Stadium in La Cartuja in matches that will serve as preparation for the World Cup that will be played next summer in Australia and New Zealand.

At a press conference, Vilda indicated that the 15 players have “excluded themselves” from the national team and trusts the “dialogue” as it is “what unites and solves problems.” On the other hand, the coach said he was “excited” with the new team and opened the door to the double winner of the Ballon d’Or, Alexia Putellas: “Having her is a success. I congratulated her on her day and I congratulate her again. We are looking forward to her recovery,” he noted.

The summoned list:

-Goalkeepers: Misa Rodríguez, Sun Quiñones, Enith Salon.

-Defenders: Ivana Andrés, Rocío Gálvez, María Méndez, Sheila García, Oihane Hernández, Olga Carmona, Alejandra Bernabé, Ana Tejada.

– Midfielders: Anna Torroda, Maitane Lopez, Maite Oroz, Teresa Abelleira, Caludia Zornoza, Fiamma Benitez.

-Front: Marta Cardona, Inma Gabarro, Alba Redondo, Athenea del Castillo, Salma Paralluelo, Esther González.
