After officially becoming Indonesian citizens, Sandy Walsh and Jordi Amat also still have to wait for the transfer of their federation status, namely from KNVB and RFEF to PSSI.

Meanwhile, next year, the Indonesian national team will compete in the Asian Cup. This prestigious competition for Asian countries will be a sign of the return of the Garuda Squad to Asia’s elite level after last appearing in the competition in 2007 when it was the host.
