Joburg Open: Dan Bradbury wins, Romain Langasque in the top 10

Romain Langasque’s good fall continues, this time in South Africa and on behalf of the 2022/2023 season of the DP World Tour. After two top 30s to finish the previous season, including a convincing 20th place in the final of the previous year in Dubai, the Frenchman brings back a 9th place from Johannesburg.

Despite three ranks lost on Sunday with his 70 final, the 265th player in the world starts this season with a Top 10, with a total of -12. He finished nine strokes behind winner Dan Bradbury, leading all week since his 63 on Thursday.

The 23-year-old Englishman notably returned a crucial approach at hole 6, to save par, before managing his lead over the last nine holes (67, only one bogey, at 18). The 1384th in the world thus won his first success on the European circuit in just three outings, three strokes ahead of the Finn Sami Valimaki (69, -18).

The other three French finish outside the top 45 at the Houghton Golf Club. Julien Guerrier (72) and Clément Berardo (71) are 48th in -3, while Robin Sciot-Siegrist appears in 54th place (-2, 68). Jeong Weon Ko closes the blue step, in 66th place, in +2 (71).
