In the craziest relationship in the USA, Larsa Pippen is now speaking up

In December 2021, Scottie Pippen, basketball legend of the 90s with the Chicago Bulls, and his wife Larsa finally divorced. Before the divorce, the couple, who married in 1997, had been separated for three years.

Larsa Pippen has grabbed a lot of headlines over the past few years with plenty of romance and relationship rumors including a brief and wild relationship with current NBA pro Malik Beasley.

But it got even wilder. Because Larsa is now with Michael Jordan’s son Marcus. Michael Jordan, considered by many to be the best basketball player in NBA history, won six US professional league titles with Pippen in the ’90s.

While the news sent shockwaves through the NBA Twitter world a few weeks ago, the two, Larsa and Marcus, also often face hostility from fans, in real life and on social media.

Larsa Pippen defends herself

Now, Larsa Pippen herself has defended her relationship with Marcus Jordan, saying she didn’t know him before.

“I only met him three years ago and didn’t know him or his family. I was 21 and in college when Scottie played with MJ that year and we weren’t friends like everyone thinks.”

What Larsa meant by “that one year”: When she met Pippen, he was playing his final season with Jordan. At the end of that year, they won their sixth title together.
