On the next weekend of 26 -27 November Chiavari will return, after a few years, as a great protagonist of national fencing. In fact, the first national qualifying round in the north area of the absolute men’s and women’s epee will be hosted.
This event, second only to the absolute national championship, will make it possible to admire among the platforms of the municipal sports hall (set up ad hoc for the occasion) swordsmen and women of the elite of Italian fencing. In particular, there will be present, among others, all four members of the men’s epee team present at the last Tokyo Olympic Games (Gabriele Cimini, Marco Fichera, Enrico Garozzo and Andrea Santarelli) and two of the four epee women who obtained the bronze Olympic team (Federica Isola and Mara Navarria).
An unmissable opportunity to admire the fencing champions competing, who will take to the platform on Saturday 26th in the women’s discipline and Sunday 27th in the men’s discipline.
Overall, Chiavari will host around 330 athletes (195 for men’s epee and 130 for women’s epee)
