José Luis Granados and Antonio Ortiz climbed to the top of the podium, after beating Salvadorans Manuel Mejía and Kennet Suria with a score of 21-9 and 21-19.
The second joy for the land of the Quetzal came with the duo of Alejandra and Mariana Paiz against Salvadorans Fátima Cedeño and Daniela Hernández (21-16 and 21-14).
In the men’s single, the Japanese Yota Kikuchi was crowned champion, who easily defeated the Frenchman Tino Daoudal.
In the women’s, her compatriot Malya Hoare also beat Colombian Juliana Giraldo (21-14 and 21-18) in two sets.
For their part, Hoare and Daoudal won the mixed gold medal against Guatemalans Christopher Martínez and Mariana Paiz in a hard-fought three-set match.

Guatemala also closed the harvest with three bronzes through Mariana Palacios (female single), Ramiro Alonso and José Ochoa (male double) and Adriana Barrios (male double) along with Lauren Villalobos from Costa Rica.
El Salvador also finished with three bronzes in men’s, women’s and mixed doubles.
Americans Justin Ma and Saketh Upadhya and Canadian Johnna Rymes took bronze in the men’s and women’s singles.
Likewise, the Colombians Miguel Quirama and Juliana Giraldo got tanned prey in mixed.
The international tournament began last Wednesday and brought together 60 badminton players from 10 countries in the zone 5 gym in the capital.
