Formula 1: Russell and Hamilton lead the Brazilian Grand Prix

Friday feeling. Due to the sprint weekend, the drivers only had one practice session before diving into qualifying. On a wet track with showers at times and tight timings to put on the rubber for a dry track and slam a time, it was Magnussen, to everyone’s surprise, who took pole on Friday at the wheel of his modest Haas. The first for the American team and the first for the Danish driver. The latter took advantage of a dry start to Q3 to make a clean lap as Verstappen made a small mistake and Russell made a mistake causing a red flag. At the time of the restart, the rain fell on Interlagos and Magnussen could then celebrate his pole. A highlight of this season.
