Bayern have no play and their stars at the World Cup. But there is trouble at home for the second team of the record champions!

Abandoned game in the 4th league!

In the away game of Bayern II at Türkgücü in the Regionalliga Bayern in Heimstetten on Saturday, events came to a head. Consequence: After scenes that no one wants to see in football stadiums, the game is finally officially stopped by the referee.

What happened?

The Zoff was probably triggered by a flag with a politically motivated message. It is said to be the flag of the Kurdish Bayern fan club “FC Bayern Kurdistan”, which was hung on the fence of the guests.

Such flags must be registered in advance. Without permission they must be taken down. And that is exactly what those responsible for Türkgücü, who see the action as a provocation against themselves, are trying to do. Türkgücü is a club founded by Turkish migrants, Kurdistan is an unrecognized autonomous region in Turkey.

Shortly after the game kicked off, some Türkgücü officials, not fans, attacked and tried to get the flag. Bayern supporters still refuse to take down the flag. It doesn’t take long for uniformed and helmeted police officers to show up. The referee sends both teams into the locker room.

Officials and club officials stand in front of the Bayern block and discuss with the supporters. When the players return to the pitch, it echoes from the back straight: “We are the fans you don’t want.”

After ten minutes, the teams have to go back to the catacombs. The stadium announcer once again appealed to the fans that politics had no place in the stadium. Then the police go into the block with clubs and tear gas and secure the flag.

Sad Climax: The stadium loudspeakers are used to search for the father of a child who has had tear gas in his eyes…

According to BILD information, there was at least one case of tear gas being used against children. In addition, eyewitnesses are said to have reported that at least one person lying on the ground had been beaten.

A little later, the game is officially canceled. And both fan camps asked to leave the stadium one after the other.

Police spokesman Werner Kraus of the Munich police on the incidents: “The fact is that the Turkish football fans were upset. The deployed colleagues then approached the Bayern block.”

And further: “We had to take down the flag using pepper spray. We could not have sustained the provocation any longer.”

According to the police, it is now being checked whether the symbol on the flag is a criminal offence.

Ambulances are now on site. Four people are said to have been hospitalized, including an 11-year-old boy. About 20 people are receiving medical treatment on site. The fans were escorted out separately by the emergency services.

According to police, there were no physical altercations. The use of pepper spray resulted in minor injuries. The police could neither deny nor confirm whether there was a child among them.

Particularly bitter: The scandal game was the debut of returnee Holger Seitz (48) on Bayern’s bench. The promotion coach from 2019 (in the 3rd league) came back from the sporting management of the youth campus after Martin Demichelis (41) had canceled his contract to coach his heart club River with Nuremberg legend Javier Pinola (39) as an assistant Plate to take over in Buenos Aires..

The game evaluation as well as the clarification and prosecution of the misconduct are now a case for the sports court…
