excellent debut for eight young athletes of Byakko Tai Sanremo at the Imperia tournament – Sanremonews.it

Excellent debut of the eight very young judokas of Sanremo’s Byakko Tai in their first competitive experience at the 3rd tournament organized by the Judo Ok Club (for non-competitive classes) which took place in Imperia on Sunday 20 November.

The event was open to the categories boys 2011/2012, children 2013/2014 and children 2015, 16, 17 and 18. The Matuzian association participated with the following athletes obtaining these appreciable results: 3rd place for Nicolò Bergallo in Boys -35kg, 3rd Lorenzo Algeri in Children B -20kg, 3rd Gabriel Modesti in Children B -34kg. First place for Alessandro Carrese in Children B -28kg, 3rd Oscar Modesti in Children -36kg and victory for Massimo Faretina in Children -39kg. Second place for Lorenzo Perrotti in Fanciulli -21kg and third place for Samira Moounassef in Fanciulle -21kg.

A round of applause goes to the debut of the very young athletes who, encouraged by Maestro Benemerito De Maria, by the technicians Marco Carbonetto, Simone Bertinotti and by all the staff of the Dojo, committed themselves to their first meeting fighting with passion and seriousness each one to the best of his possibility.

“These milestones – said the president of Byakko Tai, Ferlito – fill the whole Matuziano Dojo with satisfaction and their excellent performance will certainly be a stimulus for the continuation of their competitive career and excellent encouragement for all the other athletes in the Judo sector, congratulating them again for the good tests provided, reminding once again how sport is a path for growth that accompanies all athletes, and if exercised with great commitment, work and passion, it always leads to an important result”.

Meanwhile, Judo courses continue for all ages from 5/6 year olds to masters.
