Deportivo Cali will have two confirmed new faces: what does Jorge Luis Pinto think | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

Last weekend, Deportivo Cali finished its competitive journey in 2022, at the conclusion of the last date of the BetPlay Dimayor II-2022 League, in which it defeated the relegated Patriotas de Boyacá by the slightest difference, at its stadium in Palmaseca .

At the moment, the professional team entered a short vacation period, which is due to a large part of the players, due to the short time they had in December of last year and in the middle of this one. But they must appear in the next few days, when coach Jorge Luis Pinto and the Cali leaders make a decision on who will be part of the 2023 squad.

In the last hours it was known that two homegrown players will be added to the sugar team for the time being. These are Andrés Arroyo and Rafael Bustamante, who were on loan at Jaguares de Córdoba and the Montería club through an official statement, announced that both players “will return to their club of origin.”

Bustamante, 23, is a midfielder who started out in Cali, but was always loaned out to teams like Fortaleza CEI, Bogotá FC and Tauro de Panamá. On his side, the 20-year-old attacker Arroyo did have more games with Cali at a professional level, but was later loaned out to the feline team.

At the moment, it is uncertain if Pinto will count on them for next year or if they will again go on loan to other teams.
