On November 28th, the Yokohama DeNA Baystars announced that they would be signing a player contract with Robert Gazelleman for the 2023 season.
Through the team, Gazelleman said, “Thank you for giving me the opportunity to play for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars next season. I will do my best to win the league title that I couldn’t achieve this season for the fans and become the best in Japan.” and commented.
Gazelleman, who joined the team midway through this season, pitched in 4 games (including 3 starting pitchers), recording 1 win, 1 loss and an ERA of 2.66.
