Barcelona currently leads the Spanish League. Barca are at the top of the Spanish League standings with 37 points from 14 matches. Two points ahead of Real Madrid below.
Barcelona was able to win dramatically with 10 players, 2-1 over Osasuna on Wednesday (9/11) early morning WIB yesterday. Lewandowski was shown a red card in the first half.
Well before that match, Real Madrid lost 2-3 to Rayo Vallecano. But on Friday (11/11) early this morning, Madrid won over Cadiz 2-1 and closed the gap again.
On Barcelona’s social media, the players celebrated their success after defeating Osasuna. Dembele et al celebrated by shouting yells and dancing.
“We are happy to be top of the standings at the break of this World Cup. The players performed brilliantly and will be a good motivation,” said the coach, Xavi Hernandez.
On social media, the Barcelona celebration has even become blasphemy. Most of it is believed, from the Real Madrid fans!
“They seem to have just celebrated the championship,” wrote one netizen.
