Donations to Republicans

It is not the first time that the current owner of the Cowboys has made a donation to members of the Republican Party. In 2020, Jones offered combative words to reporters regarding $1 million charitable contribution he made to former President Donald Trump’s inaugural committee in 2017.

“This is how the country should be run, but don’t fuck with me, okay?” Jones reportedly told a Palm Beach Post report at the 2020 NFL owners meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., when asked about his financial support for Republicans.
