BOLASPORT.COM – The World Badminton Federation (BWF) has released a list of the latest rankings in which two Indonesian badminton players have increased.

After the 2022 Australian Open last week, two Indonesian badminton players experienced an increase in terms of ranking in the latest release, Tuesday (22/11/2022).

The two badminton players are Gregoria Mariska Tunjung from men’s singles and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja from mixed doubles.

Starting with Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, she managed to create a number of important records in her career when she entered the 2022 Australian Open.

The badminton player from Wonogiri, Central Java managed to reach the first World Tour final in his career.

In addition, Gregoria is the first singles for Indonesia to qualify for the season-ending tournament, namely the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals in December.

Gregoria’s brilliant achievement failed to be complemented by the 2022 Australian Open title after she was defeated by South Korean representative An Se-young.

However, the results of the runner-up from the super 300 level tournament boosted Gregoria’s position in the world ranking table.
