A boy was tired of being made bullying to your partner. The reason? I used to wear a worn out pair of sneakers to schoolwhich made him a reason for harassment.
Through Facebook, Bryant Brown Jr, coordinator of a public school in Buffalo (United States), revealed the captivating action carried out by one of the students in the school: a colleague gave him a new pair of Nike sneakers.
“My student Melo told me that he was tired of other students picking on Melvin for his shoes.“, relata Brown. “Melo used his allowance and bought Melvin some shoes. This is what I live for, to be that helping hand“, he concludes.
Quickly, the story began to spread and more details about the story began to be known. In an interview for the local chain HUNGRomello (‘Melo’) recounted why he did it.
“I realized that I was bothering him“, he recounted. “It just gave me a really bad stomach ache to see someone have to go through that, and be teased just for their looks.“.
“I had saved my allowance, so I asked my mom to take me to the shoe store to buy Melvin some shoesand the next day I came and gave them to them,” he explained.
And although Melo does not ask for anything in return, Melvin assured that he is doing chores at home to try to earn some extra money, in order to being able to pay your partner for his action.
“I’m really thankful for what he did for me,” Melvin said. “ANDi’m doing chores around the house so i can earn some money and try to repay what he did for me“.
And although Melo thinks he doesn’t have to, Melvin insists he wants to return the favor. Likewise, Melo details that he has also suffered harassment, specifically because of his height, for which he believes that no one else should suffer bullying.
“At my old school, I was teased in every grade for my height.Melo said.And that made me think that no one else should have to go through what I felt“.
