Boulogne-Levallois has a sixth victory in a row in Betclic Elite, Wembanyama breaks its record

Victor Wembanyama continues to hover over the French Championship. The Boulogne-Levallois prodigy blew up his personal best points (33, against 25 last season in the jersey of Asvel) to bring the Metropolitans 92 to a sixth success in a row on Friday against Limoges (78-59 ) opening the 8th day of Betclic Elite.

The 18-year-old winger suffered a small ankle scare in the first half, returned to the locker room before returning to play at the start of the second quarter. But he still delivered a leading meeting (10 of 17 in shots in 35 minutes, 10 of 12 shots) adding 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 9 fouls and 3 blocks for 41 evaluation (best mark of the season ) against Limougeauds physically overwhelmed and already overwhelmed before the break (24-42).

Wembanyama revived his team at the end of the third quarter while the CSP had come within ten lengths (44-54) after a basket from Nicolas Lang (17 points). Relaunch for Blois

The promoted took the upper hand at the end of the first half, relying on the interior US Amadou Sow (22 points to 9 out of 10 on shots, 6 rebounds) and on a big skill at long distance (13 out of 24 ). The BCM took on water in the third quarter (57-75, 29th) and was never able to worry the ADA which acquired a valuable success.

After a first success in Pau (89-84), Le Portel doubled the bet and opened his counter at home against Nanterre (77-66). The Stellates were able to tighten the bolts after a permissive first quarter (19-25) and limited the Nantes three-point shooters to a mediocre 5 out of 26.

Terry Allen (18 points) and Emmanuel Nzekwesi (17) were the strong men of Portel who broke away after the break to win without fear reaching a ten-point lead at the end of the third quarter to control the last attacks Justin Bibbins (26 points) and Keith Hornsby (15 points) who lacked inside support.
