Beerschot puts Beveren under pressure with victory on the field of Anderlecht reserves | Challenger Pro League 2022/2023

Lucas Stassin gave Anderlecht the lead after 12 minutes. The young striker scored with a nice shot from the turn, his 10th of the season. Stassin is therefore co-top scorer in the Challenger Pro League.

Beerschot’s answer was also welcome. Captain Ryan Sanusi made a great shot to tie the score at half time.

After the break, the visitors completely turned the game around. Nokkvi Thorisson recorded the final score at 1-2 just before the hour with a wonderful curl in the far corner.

Thanks to that victory, Beerschot now leads the Challenger Pro League. It counts one point more than Beveren, which will receive a visit from Lommel on Sunday.
