BC badminton goes to tournament in San Luis Potosí

With the support of the Institute of Sport and Physical Culture of Baja California, a dozen badminton athletes will face the eighth edition of the 2022 National Badminton Tournament, which will be held in San Luis Potosí.
The coaches José Luis Espinoza and Jonathan Morales, are the ones who will coordinate the journey at the head of the state representative made up of prioritized athletes from the INDE BC program and made up of eight young people from Tijuana, plus another four from the municipality of Ensenada.
The Baja California team left yesterday, Wednesday, with the firm conviction of demonstrating the conscientious work that has been carried out throughout 2021, the year in which Baja California was able to position itself among the three best states within this discipline in the past Conade 2022 Nationals.
This will be the first participation of the 29th State in the prestigious tournament that is promoted in honor of Rodrigo Solís, a strong promoter at the national and international level of this sport.
Likewise, Baja California seeks to train the athletes against other States that are among the best in the country, such as Nuevo León and Jalisco, to prepare them for the eliminatory rounds that will define the participants of the next Conade Nationals.
The competition will take place from Thursday, November 3 to Sunday, November 6, at the High Performance Center in the capital of Potosina with the participation of 150 players and plays from Quintana Roo, Aguascalientes, Mexico City, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Nuevo León. and Lower California.
