Barra, 52 years old beaten with a baseball bat. The carabinieri investigate to discover the reasons for the attack that took place in the Ponticelli area
The carabinieri of the Poggioreale pmz intervened last night at the Villa Betania hospital for a man who was probably a victim of aggression.
According to a reconstruction yet to be verified, the victim (52 years old from the Barra district) was allegedly approached by some strangers riding a scooter while driving along Via Mastellone. With a baseball bat they would smash the rear window of the car and force him out of the vehicle.
And with the same weapon he would have been beaten. For him 30 days of prognosis prescribed for mild head injury, bruising and multiple contusions, suspected fracture of the right forearm.
Investigations underway by the carabinieri to clarify the dynamics. The military is analyzing the images of public and private cameras in the area to get a clearer picture and to try to trace the attackers.
But we are also investigating man’s relationships and acquaintances. It is not excluded that the attack is for personal reasons.
