ASVEL Women won the match against Zabiny Brno by forfeit in the Women’s EuroCup.
The Women’s EuroCup Day 3 match between ASVEL Women and Zabiny Brno, scheduled for Thursday November 10 at 8 p.m. at Mado Bonnet, had to be postponed due to COVID-19. In committee, FIBA decided to forfeit Zabiny Brno against ASVEL Women.
“Having considered the relevant circumstances and in accordance with the Rules, the Judge declared Zabiny Brno forfeited. In accordance with the Official Basketball Rules, the match was awarded to their opponents, ASVEL Feminin, with the score 20-0”FIBA said in its statement.
Currently, ASVEL is in 2nd place in Group K of the EuroCup with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss behind Lattes-Montpellier, leader with 4 wins and ahead of Saint-Sébastien (1 win – 3 losses) and Brno ( 4 losses.).
Having taken into account the relevant circumstances and in accordance with the Regulations, the Single Judge handed Zabiny Brno a forfeit. As per the Official Basketball Rules, the game was awarded to their opponents, ASVEL Feminin, with a score of 20-0.https://t.co/1QucXAVpZW
