Around with Russell Westbrook

The Los Angeles Lakers insist on adding more obstacles to a path that is already being quite tortuous. On Monday they blew a 17-point lead before giving up against the Indiana Pacers, who gave up lace with a buzzer-beater triple by Andrew Nembhard.

A setback that is a very hard blow for a team adrift that was beginning to see the light after winning five of its last six games. This loss not only keeps them in 13th place in the Western Conference, two games away from play-inbut directly attacks the confidence of a team full of doubts.

Whether due to apathy, boredom or having burned excessively said cartridge, Russell Westbrook is no longer in the crosshairs of critics. Or at least at a much lower level than just a few weeks ago. Westbrook was the main topic of conversation in the gold and purple franchise at the start of the season, due to his inability to fit into the starting five alongside Anthony Davis and, especially, LeBron James, which skyrocketed the number of rumors surrounding an imminent departure from the team.
