Alcaraz enters the quarterfinals of the Paris-Bercy Masters 1,000 without giving up a set

Without opposition, in 2 hours and 19 minutes, Carlos Alcaraz has reached the quarterfinals of the Paris Bercy Masters 1,000 by beating Grigor Dimitrov by 6-1 and 6-4. A victory that allows him to take an almost definitive step to finish the season as number 1 after the defeats of Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev and of Casper Ruud who has fallen, in the previous game, against the Italian Lorenzo Musetti by 4-6, 6-4 and 6-4.
