Following Ilari Seppala’s foot injury forcing him to stay away from the courts for a few more weeks, Saint-Chamond Basket Vallée du Gier has decided to recruit a “medical freelancer”. The coaches’ choice fell on Adika Peter-McNeilly, a 29-year-old Canadian player and 1m90 playing at the 2-1 position. He joins the workforce of Alain Thinet for the next two months. He notably evolved in Lille in 2019/2020 (8.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists) but also in Germany (at MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg) and in Romania. He should be able to wear the Couramiaud jersey for the first time during the reception of Antibes on November 18 at the Arena Saint-Etienne Métropole.
