Ho Chi Minh City (VNA) – Nguyen Thuy Linh was crowned after her fine victory in the final against Malaysian opponent Goh Jin Wei, during the International Badminton Tournament Yonex – Sunrise Vietnam Open 2022 which ended on October 2 in Ho Chi Minh City.
During the final, Nguyen Thuy Linh played very well and controlled his opponent. It wasn’t too difficult for Thuy Linh to defeat the Malaysian player 21-15 in the first set and then in the second set 21-13 to close the final.
This victory will help Thuy Linh to significantly improve his position in the ranking of the World Federation of badminton (BWF). Vietnam’s No. 1 tennis player (World No. 58) has made great strides recently, when she recently won the international badminton tournament in Belgium.
