Width! – BadmintonBladet – Tsportsride

The big work with BREDDEN also starts out here, at the schools in the small communities – Svend Gønge School in 4750 Lundby, South Zealand.

A large width is necessary for a few, less than one per thousand, to reach through the many steps and clubs on their way to the very top.

Many top players have started in a small club. See below……

The width is the prerequisite for the Elite. Not the other way around.

The elite do not create Bredden. The elite can create interest and awareness of our sport.

But without volunteers in the clubs, without committed and skilled coaches, without organized offers, without proximity in the form of local halls and without large and small associations, the necessary breadth will not be created.
