A Big Pink Walk and Run in Lardy
In order to promote early detection of breast cancer, the City of Lardy is organizing a large pink walk / race open to all, in the city hall park on Saturday October 8, 2022 at 10 a.m.
The City of Lardy undertakes to donate €1 per lap of the park to the League Against Cancer.
For the simple pleasure of running or walking for a good cause in a festive atmosphere, it will also be an opportunity to share a unique and friendly moment, with family or friends around the various activities planned around the event.
A meeting around nature and sport in Sénart Forest
The Val d’Yerres Val de Seine Agglomeration Community is organizing the 4th edition of its Green and Blue Day, a friendly and family meeting around nature and sport.
This new edition will take place on Sunday October 9, 2022 from 10:30 a.m., at the Montgeron crossroads in the Forest of Sénart.
On the program: hikes or bike rides supervised by experienced leaders, a historical route to tell you the great story of the forest, Nordic walking and a psychomotricity circuit for children.
There will also be a make-up stand, pony rides, an introduction to the climbing wall and archery with certificates, or a fitness workshop to discover the “Bungy Pump” and many more. entertainment for young and old to have a good time with the family.
Meeting with the animal health laboratory teams
Once again this year, the ANSES laboratories are mobilizing for the Fête de la science. The opportunity to meet scientists and discover their subjects of study at ENS Paris-Saclay in Gif-sur-Yvette on October 8 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and October 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This year, the focus is on parasitic diseases. Visitors will thus be able to discover the parasites that circulate on our plates. An educational workshop called “How to spot ticks and how to avoid them?” will also be on the program in collaboration with Inrae and the National Veterinary School of Alfort.
École Polytechnique opens its doors for the Fête de la Science
The École Polytechnique in Palaiseau is organizing a series of scientific events on October 8 from 1:30 p.m. on the occasion of the Fête de la Science. The opportunity to discover the large hall of l’X, where the Science Village will welcome young and old around 16 stands, animated by researchers from the 23 laboratories of the School.
Several major themes will be addressed: climate and energy, digital technology, optics, biology, mathematics, chemistry and mechanics. An Escape Game, developed by the Laboratory for the use of intense lasers, will make it possible to use light in all its facets, with family or friends.

Beautiful cars on the RN20 and at the Linas-Montlhéry autodrome
The “Hubert Auriol Classic” rally in tribute to the motorcycle and car champion of the mythical Paris Alger Dakar rally will be passing through Essonne along the RN20 on Saturday 8 October.
In total, 40 cars, 6 trucks and 20 motorbikes will leave Versailles before joining Essonne and the RN 20 to continue their journey via Étampes, to Châteauroux for the end of the first stage.
For its part, the Linas-Montlhéry autodrome will host the 9th edition of the Italian Meeting autodrome on the same day.
