The Paraguayan Men’s Basketball Team defeated Colombia 66-48, on Thursday at the SND Arena, a victory that allows them to once again hope to obtain Gold in the competition.

The Paraguayan Men’s Futsal Team thrashed Bolivia 5-0, on Thursday at the León Condou stadium, and has already secured a medal at the ASU 2022 South American Games. However, the boys want the Gold medal and will look for it this Friday against Argentina.

The white and red goals were the work of Francisco Martínez, Richard Rejala, Pedro Pascottini, and Antonio Ozuna, who billed twice.

With their victory against Bolivia, the fourth in a row in the competition, Paraguay is the only leader with 12 points, while Argentina has 10 units and appears as the only team that can catch up with the Albirroja.

In fact, this Friday, Paraguay and Argentina will define the Gold in this discipline when they face each other from 8:15 p.m. at the León Condou stadium. La Albirroja needs nothing more than a draw to win the gold medal, in the worst case the Silver medal has already been secured.
