three reinforcements at Stade Français, including South African prop Koch

After an excellent start to the season, Stade Français has announced the arrival of three medical jokers.

Stade Français, currently second in the Top 14, announced Thursday the arrival of three medical jokers, including South African right pillar Vincent Koch, world champion in 2019 with the Springboks.

After six seasons with Saracens, the 32-year-old joined another English club, Wasps, recently placed in receivership due to serious financial difficulties.

Licensed and free to engage elsewhere, like the whole of the workforce, Koch therefore bounced back to the French stadium, which sought to compensate for the unavailability of Paul Alo-Emile. Another Wasps player, England winger or center Paolo Odogwu (25), crosses the Channel as Sefa Naivalu’s medical joker. Fijian winger or rear Peniasi Dakuwaqa (25) will make up for the absence of Tongan international Telusa Veainu, who has a knee injury.

Stade Français travels Friday to Montpellier, defending champion, on behalf of the 9th day of Top 14.
