This is how the coaches of Langreo, Marino and Avilés face the weekend

Roberto Robles, Manel Menéndez and Emilio Cañedo have gone through a press conference to talk about their teams’ matches against Zamora, Bergantiños and Valladolid B, respectively.

Roberto Robles, coach of Langreo

The work week: The truth is that very well, we have started the week with a very good level of dynamics. People are plugged in. After analyzing last weekend’s game we have that point of bitterness because we had situations to take the game, but we are already thinking about Sunday. We expect an important match. We want to play at home again after two games away.

schema change: At the beginning, yes, we were a bit accelerated, we entered with many illusions thanks to the good preseason. With the passing of the days we are settling down, and thus we reinforce our virtues. The line is very good and positive, I can be somewhat unfair to the people who participate less, but I am very happy with everyone. They are having very good weeks and when they come out they give us that extra so that in the second parts we grow much more.

Sunday’s game: Complicated, it is against a rival that does many things well, although it is not getting results. Many games go in a back and forth, which changes the dynamics. In addition, they have finished several times with one less, which harms them. They are an important rival, who have signed high-level players, but we arrived at a good time, we played at home, and we want to get the three points at home again and give ourselves a joy.

Adapt to the opponent: You know me, I don’t give more importance to dynamics. They know what they are playing, but we don’t have to focus on them, we have to have it on us. We must have things clear, know what we are doing, reinforce ideas and have the calm and patience of these weeks.

The influence of playing in Ganzábal: It is very important, last year the profile of the team that Zamora could be made us feel good at home. It is a team that proposes, that likes to play, we do not shy away from doing things without the ball and we can put pressure on them, something that people like. Ganzábal is going to be important throughout the year, without the people we have it very difficult in the category. We have not experienced that requirement that we place on our rivals at home, so we must translate it into points.

The lesions: We have some situation from the last game that we still have to assess both with the physio and with the coaching staff. I have no complaints, people are responsible and aware of when they reach the limit.

Manel Menéndez, coach of Marino

Conclusions of the last meeting: It’s another day in the league, we arrived after a draw against Coruxo, one of the teams aspiring to win the league or at least get to the top. We played a very serious game there, we didn’t lose face at any time. I already said it, we had the feeling that we could have done something more, but the team is fine.

Return to Miramar: For us it is very important to make ourselves strong at home. Bergantiños is a team that is having a bad moment in terms of results, but it should not confuse us. We know how it is, there is a terrible equality and any team can beat anyone.

El Bergantinos: They have made a lot of changes from last year. They play and travel well and although right now things don’t work out for them, we shouldn’t be confused. We know that we are going to face a good team. We want to continue being strong in Miramar and keep adding to achieve the main objective.

Emilio Cañedo, coach of Aviles

How is the team: In the line of these weeks. They have a good attitude and rhythm. It has been a week full of content and being aware of what we have to improve.

Template: They are always motivated. We try to ensure that this attitude and motivation is present in every game and that we see a team that has the feeling of going forward, that creates chances and goes out to win.

How to stop Valladolid B?: We want to be recognizable, be ourselves and maintain our structures. The best way to counter Valladolid is that, being recognizable, trying to take the initiative and having long possessions, is the best way to defend.

The virtues of Valladolid B: They have the typical virtues of a subsidiary. They show a lot of quality and a lot of ambition, it shows that they are very close to professional football.

Without winning away from home: We are missing a bit of luck. In Lugo we had it close and in Arenteiro too. The only game in which we were far from being recognizable was in Bergantiños. We have to have that point of ambition if we want to be a strong team that tries to be recognizable in Valladolid. Going to win already for the game, in addition to having that bit of luck that is needed.

The layout of the meeting: It is a game that you have to compete well. After a hesitant start we have two wins and two draws, although the last one was bittersweet against Palencia. We need to maintain that average throughout the year.
