From the Tierra de Barros tennis club they have been claiming for months the need to completely renovate the two tennis courts located in the lower part of the Tomás de la Hera sports center (courts number 4 and 5), just the closest to the current space of the fronton. However, there are only funds to renovate one of the two tennis courts and it is the members of the club itself who are analyzing two alternatives for this improvement.
On the one hand, it is proposed to completely renovate court 4 and condition it to the regulatory measures, which it does not currently have, both to play singles and doubles. If this measure were to be carried out, runway 5 would have to be removed by spaces. The other alternative to voting is to renew lane 4 for singles, not doubles, and leave lane 5, thus keeping both. The decision will be known shortly.
On the other hand, the construction of a climbing wall in the Europe pavilion has already been approved with a budget of 109,989 euros (VAT included). It will be located in one of the corners of the pavilion with the aim of not impeding any of the sports practices that have been taking place in this venue. It must be remembered that within this pavilion the replacement of all the pavement has also been approved by the governing board.
