The Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank shines in Zaragoza

Brilliant and spectacular return of the Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank to Zaragoza, in whose emblematic Plaza del Pilar 107 teams, 428 male and female players from all categories and almost 10,000 visitors have gathered throughout a day in which a total of 154 games and has been another great party of the largest free street basketball circuit in Spain.

The return of the Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank circuit to Zaragoza has been brilliant and spectacular. No less than 107 teams and 428 players from all categories in a day in which 154 games were played, the usual competitions led by the FEB Ambassador Fernando Romay were held, and it concluded with the distribution of trophies to the winners of the competitions in each of the categories. In addition, almost 10,000 visitors have passed through the emblematic Plaza del Pilar throughout the day.

The event has had the support of the Zaragoza Sport municipal society of the Zaragoza City Council and the collaboration of the Aragonese Basketball Federation (FAB), and a team of volunteers attached to the FEB-CaixaBank Volunteer Program has also participated.

The day has been developed from early in the morning until early in the afternoon, and as in all the previous stops of the circuit, compliance with health protocols has been guaranteed at all times to guarantee the health of participants and visitors. . At the end of the day, the final prizes were distributed to the winners.

Zaragoza has been the tenth stop of the current 2022 edition of the circuit, which had previously passed through Melilla, Madrid, Malaga, Palma, Pamplona, ​​A Coruña, Santander, Barcelona and Alcalá de Henares, and which will continue next Saturday November 5 in Granada.

More than 100 stops, 42 cities and more than 45,000 participants since 2012

The FEB launched the Plaza 3×3 program in 2012, from its first edition by CaixaBank. Since its inception, the circuit has reached 101 stops, 45,000 participants and 225,000 visitors. All this in a total of 42 cities throughout Spain: A Coruña, Albacete, Alcalá de Henares, Alcázar de San Juan, Almendralejo, Almería, Ávila, Badajoz, Barcelona, ​​Bilbao, Burgos, Cáceres, Castellón, Cartagena, Córdoba, Gijón, Guadalajara, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Jerez de la Frontera, León, Leganés, L’Hospitalet, Logroño, Madrid, Málaga, Melilla, Murcia, Palma de Mallorca, Pamplona, ​​Plasencia, San Sebastián, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Santander, Santiago of Compostela, Segovia, Seville, San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Terrassa, Valencia, Zaragoza and Zarautz.
