The Detection Days are once again a meeting point for basketball

The Detection Days are always one of the most anticipated events for players who are starting out in basketball. It’s about the gateway to the Technification Program of the Basketball Federation of the Valencian Community (FBCV)the initiative that is developed in collaboration with the clubs to regularly bring together the young basketball talents of the Valencian Community.

And this season has been no exception. Excited to be among the chosen ones, Numerous players from all over the Community participated this Sunday in the Detection Days for the 2011 generation (second-year fry). The activity was held simultaneously in a venue for each province (Manises, Alicante and Alcora)and in this generation the goal is twofold:

Preselection Phase: on the one hand, to incorporate some of the participating players into the Pre-selection of the Valencian Community that will prepare the participation in the next Spanish Minibasket Championship of Autonomous Selections.

Technification Phase: on the other hand, to set up the working groups that will make up the Technification Phase this season, in which there will be three venues throughout the Community. A total of 14 training sessions will be held during the season trying to help their individual improvement as players by training with other teammates from different clubs but with a similar level.

Excited to be among the chosen ones, numerous players from all over the Community participated this Sunday in the Detection Days for the 2011 generation (second-year fry). FBCV


After these days of detection, the FBCV technicians will decide the players who are summoned for the next training session of the Preselection Phase and the Modernization Phase. And so on after each working day until the definitive groups are configured in each headquarters. These calls will be sent directly to the clubs and sports entities of the players.

The objective is to help individual improvement as players by training with other teammates from different clubs but with a similar level. FBCV


The Detection Days for the Alevines of the 2012 generation will be held on November 6while the Benjamins of the 2013 generation will have their Detection Days on January 29, 2023with a view to the second part of the season.

After these Detection Days, the FBCV technicians will decide the players who are summoned for the following training of the Preselection Phase and the Modernization Phase. FBCV
