The CB IES La Orden starts the League in an overwhelming way (7-0)

The IES La Orden Badminton Club began its participation in the Iberdrola Top10 League with a resounding 7-0 victory against San Fernando Valencia, a priori another of the teams that must fight for the title. The match corresponds to the second day, but it is the debut of Paco Ojeda’s pupils since in the first they had a rest shift. There was no color and the duel, which could have some equality, ended up being a walk for the current champion.

In the doubles the match was already practically seen for sentence. In the mixed, Pablo Abián and Haideé Ojeda did not give Lucía Vázquez and Fran Olivares an option: 11-6, 11-7 and 11-4. The women’s double was somewhat more even, which went to four sets with Haideé Ojeda and Laura Santos victorious over Lucía Vázquez and Silvia Ferrandis: 11-4, 10-11, 11-2 and 11-3.



Alberto Perals and Alejandro Pérez also met, who won an even duel with Fran Olivares and Lorenzo Adell: 6-11, 11-10, 11-7, 7-11 and 11-9. With the 3-0, the visiting team’s chances of victory ended and all that remained was to know the final score.

Albiazul’s dominance continued in the individual. Pablo Abián imposed logic to get rid of Arturo Nicolás Hernández (11-4, 11-10 and 11-3), while Silvia Ferrandis presented something more of a battle against Telma Santos: 11-6, 11-4, 10-11 and 11 -5.

With 5-0 on the scoreboard, IES La Orden rounded off its victory with two more wins. Alberto Perals beat Lorenzo Adell (11-6, 11-2 and 11-4) and Laura Santos closed the duel against Andrea Arrones (11-7, 11-3 and 11-7).
