Nicolás Morales and Sergio Zapata, two of the outstanding badminton talents from Quindío, are going for more after the subtitle achieved a few days ago in the doubles modality in the third valid of the National Championship for Seniors that took place in Armenia.
Morales and Zapata participate in the Colombia Cup, sub-17 category, which takes place in Zipaquirá until next Monday, October 24, with the exclusive attendance of the eight best badminton players in the country, male and female.
Nicolás Morales and Sergio Zapata meet at the event in Cundinamarca, with the objective of adding points and winning places for the next Youth Olympic Games.
Hugo Morales, departmental technician, indicated: «We hope that Nicolás and Sergio will keep those quotas. It should be noted that they are supported athletes and that they have just done a very good campaign in the National Tournament for Seniors, and that they continue to prepare for other national badminton events.
