The ’12 moons’ leisure program offers 76 different activities this fall

The most consolidated youth leisure program in the city, ’12 moons’, will offer this autumn 76 activities with more than 3,400 seats. Nordic walking, zip lines, comedy shows such as Luis Piedrahita, the Fito and Fitipaldi concert, the musical of The Lion King, visit to the Gugghenheim museum (Bilbao), paintball, massages, ‘escape rooms’ and even an obedience workshop perruna make up a program that seeks to offer healthy leisure alternatives.

Zaragoza City Council thus consolidates the offer with a program promoted by the Youth Service to offer young people between the ages of 14 and 30 a healthier model of relationships and free time.

In this way, it maintain some of the most successful activities in recent years and incorporate new ones to meet the needs of this group. In total, there will be 76 activities with 3,400 places “for young people to have fun, learn and interact in a healthy and creative leisure environment,” said the Councilor for Youth, María Antoñanzas.

The registration period is open from last Monday, October 3 for the activities that take place in October. For those scheduled in November, the term will open on the 17th of the same month, while for those in December it will be from November 14.

Variety

The program contains activities for all tastessome linked to sports and the environment, such as Nordic walking, archery, zip lines in the Juncaral park or excursions to the Piedra monastery or the Moncayo Natural Park.

There will be also activities outside Zaragoza, such as a visit to the Guggenheim Museum or musicals in Madrid, such as the Lion King, or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as well as comedy shows, such as Luis Piedrafita, or the Fito and Fitipaldis concert.

From the Youth Service they seek offer a complete and diverse program that responds to the concerns and motivations of the young people of the city. Each user will be able to participate in up to nine program activities. Tickets can be booked on the municipal website ‘www.zaragoza.es/juventud’.

In those activities where there are more applications for registration than places, allocate these places by lottery. The previous paper ticket is replaced by a virtual one that will be received in the email provided. To receive it, it is necessary to activate the option to receive emails in the Open Government Platform.

The largest subsidy of the National Plan on Drugs

The ’12 moons’ programme, whose main objectives are the youth health promotion and encouragement of socio-cultural activitiesis financed in part with the subsidy of the National Plan on Drugs of the Ministry of Health, which distributes the funds seized from drug trafficking among local corporations.

In the last call, Zaragoza has been the first city that has received the most amount among the 44 Spanish towns presented with 627.469 euros.
