Tence: the Tuesday market moved the work time

The weekly market of Tence will be moved during the works in the city, for a provisional duration of one year.

After consultation with itinerant merchants and merchants of Tence, from Tuesday, October 11, 2022, the weekly market of Tence will be moved due to road works that will start in the Barracks district. The expected duration is 1 year.

These works inserted in the revitalization of the town center (read the article) will require cutting traffic on rue des Casernes. Trucks will therefore be diverted via Place du Chatiague.

“Indeed, it is not possible to maintain the market in sufficient security conditions”, communicates the town hall.

The market will therefore be held in the parking lot of the Lionchère gymnasium, boulevard Léon Rocher.

As a result, parking will be authorized on Place du Chatiague and Place Saint-Martin.

Once the work was done, the market returned to its original place.
