(London) Greg Joseph made a 47-yard field goal with 24 seconds remaining as the Minnesota Vikings beat the New Orleans Saints 28-25 on Sunday in London.

Wil Lutz had the chance to send the game into overtime, but the ball hit the left post and the crossbar on his 61-yard field goal attempt.
Vikings star receiver Justin Jefferson got the better of Marshon Lattimore for a 39-yard catch, which set the stage for Joseph’s field goal.
The Saints (1-3) orchestrated an eight-play push that ended with a 60-yard field goal from Lutz with 1:51 to go to tie the game 25-25. The New Orleans squad suffered a third straight loss.
Jefferson had 10 catches for 147 yards and added a fourth-quarter rushing touchdown for the Vikings (3-1).
The Vikings missed several chances to score a touchdown and had to settle for five field goals. They had to draw on all their resources to defeat the Saints even if the latter were deprived of a few key starters including quarterback Jameis Winston and running back Alvin Kamara.
Kirk Cousins completed 25 of 38 passes for 273 yards. He threw a touchdown pass and an interception. Under first-year head coach Kevin O’Connell, the Vikings are off to their best start since 2016 (4-0).
With the Saints trailing 16-7, backup quarterback Andy Dalton led two profitable offensive series to give his team a 22-19 lead.
Dalton had 20 of 28 attempts from the air caught for 236 yards. He threw a touchdown pass.
