Strasbourg come out on top against Szombathely

Against the Hungarians of Szombathely, Strasbourg ended up winning (81-78) for their first outing of the Champions League (BCL) season.

SIG Strasbourg started their Champions League (BCL) season with a win over Szombathely. The Alsatians were considerably hampered by the Hungarian formation which only gave in at the very end. Indeed, Falco reacted very well after going down to -9 (26-17), the biggest gap of the game. Milos Konakov’s players responded with a 12-0 (26-29) and thus led 40-38 at the break. What finally ensure the victory 81 to 78.
