Stefan Medina and nine more Colombians will be in the quarterfinals of Liga MX | Colombians Abroad

Liga MX 2022 enters its final phase after defining the keys to the quarterfinals after playing the playoff series. In these finals, 10 Colombian soccer players will be on board who will fight for the title of the second semester.

With the teams qualified for the quarterfinals, Tigres, Toluca, Puebla and Cruz Azul achieved qualification along with América, Santos, Pachuca and Monterrey, who were paired in the draw and will play in round-trip matches.

On the one hand, Pachuca will be the team that has the most Colombians in this final phase, where three coffee growers stand out as Oscar Murillo, Marino Hinestroza and Aviles Hurtadowho will face Tigres UANL of Louis Quinones.

Similarly, Toluca will be with two representatives as Andres Mosquera and Brayan Angulowho will be rivaling Harold Preciado of Santos Laguna in the quarterfinals.

Finally, Monterrey with the Colombia National Team player Stefan Medina, will be in a duel against Cruz Azul and the forward, Roger Martínez will play with América from Mexico, looking for the semifinals against Puebla.

The matches of the Liga MX quarterfinals will be played between October 12 and 16 of the same month.
