Panamanians Kyle Seixas and Kelly Yau qualified for the round of 16 in the men’s and women’s individual badminton competitions at the XII South American Games taking place in Asunción, Paraguay.

pebbles beat the Chilean Fernando Sanhueza 2-0 (21-11 and 21-19) to advance to the round of 16 where he will face the Ecuadorian Alan Erben.

Today did the same before the representative of Suriname, Erisa Bleau, by 2-0 (21-14, 21-19). This gave him the right to play in the round of 16 against the Brazilian Sammia Passos.

Badminton matches are held in the Leon Condou Stadium of Asuncion.
