BOLASPORT.COM – A total of six Liga 1 2022/2023 clubs have expressed their stance regarding the Kanjuruhan tragedy. But only two clubs dared to go against the grain.

The two clubs in question are Persis Solo and Persebaya Surabaya.

The coalition of the two teams brought together Persebaya President Azrul Ananda together with the owner of Persis Solo, Kaesang Pangarep on Monday (24/10/2022).

Persis and Persebaya have sent a statement of attitude to PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB).

The first letter contained a demand for an Extraordinary PSSI Congress to be held according to the recommendation of the Joint Independent Fact Finding Team (TGIPF).

This demand is in line with TGIPF’s threat that the government has the authority not to issue competition permits until the KLB is held.

The second demand is to propose that an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders be held immediately to discuss the certainty of the league.

“We feel that holding the EGMS of PT LIB is the most urgent thing at this time because all clubs must be willing to sit down together to discuss the certainty of the league,” said Azrul in his official release.

“Hopefully other clubs can do the same so that the EGMS can be held soon,” he added
