Frenchman Robert Loic and Kenyan Lucy Murigi have won the Zumaia Flysch Trail. Both runners have crossed the finish line in record time and have beaten the times of other editions.

The Frenchman, despite being out of his comfort zone today, has managed to lower the previous mark by concluding the test in 1 hour 28 minutes. For her part, the Kenyan Lucy Murigi, who has prevailed in the female category, has done so in 1 hour 40 minutes.

At the end of the race, Loic recognized that the Zumaia Flysch Trail is a “very nice race”. Yesterday’s fatigue, which he won in the Anboto Vertical Kilometer, has not been noticed. “I’m in shape and I’m going to continue next week at 100%,” he assured. About his rival, Raul Criado, Loic has detailed that he is a very “good runner and that he expresses the best of myself.”

For his part, Criado, who crossed the finish line second, ahead of Hassan Ait Chaou, acknowledged that “I had quite a few problems along the way, but I was content that Hassan didn’t catch me. Here I am one more year and I am delighted to be able to be with all of you.
