Rescued Venetian climber wounded on the face Elena di Arco

She was hit by a stone while she was on the last pitch on the face of San Paolo, Valle del Sarca

At the same time another intervention was carried out to rescue a 1989 female climber from Veneto who had injured her lower limb, after being hit by a stone, while she was on the last pitch of Via Elena on the face of San Paolo (Arco, Valle del Sarca).
The call to the Single Emergency Number arrived around 2.15pm.
The Unica Central for Emergencies, with the Coordinator of the Southern Trentino Operational Area of ​​the Alpine and Speleological Rescue, asked for the helicopter to intervene.

The aircraft recovered an Alpine Rescue Helicopter Rescue Technician engaged in another rescue and an operator from the Riva del Garda Station, engaged in an exercise.
The two were winched on the wall; one rescued the injured person and together they were recovered aboard the helicopter with the winch.
The other rescuer accompanied the woman’s climbing partner to the end of the route.
There they were recovered by vehicle by the operators of the Riva del Garda station.
The woman, on the other hand, was handed over to the ambulance.
