BOLASPORT.COM – The Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Zainudin Amali, said that the renovation of stadiums that were not suitable for use began next year. For this reason, League 1, League 2 and League 3 clubs were asked to find another stadium.
Zainudin Amali said that he accompanied the Minister of PUPR, Basuki Hadimuljono, to audit the stadiums used for competitions.
This was done due to a heartbreaking incident after Arema FC vs. Persebaya Surabaya appeared on week 11 of Liga 1 2022-2023.
The match, which took place at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, ended in a heart-wrenching tragedy.

At least 132 people died because they could not get out of the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, after a riot occurred inside the stadium.
After the Kanjuruhan Tragedy, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, ordered an immediate audit of the stadium.
For this reason, the Ministry of PUPR is confirmed to be the spearhead of this stadium audit.
Menpora Zainudin Amali said that the order of the President of the Republic of Indonesia was to conduct an audit of all stadiums in Indonesia.
