This year the badminton modality is added to those of basketball, tennis, athletics, soccer, paddle tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, multisport, judo and taekwondo with a total of 633 students.
Significant growth in the number of schoolchildren enrolled in the Municipal Sports Schools of the Villarrubia de los Ojos City Council (Ciudad Real), amounting to a total of 633, who will participate in 9 sports modalities.
A total of 633 boys and girls, between the ages of 4 and 18, have already started the season and participate in the municipal sports schools in nine sports modalities: football, paddle tennis, rhythmic gymnastics, multisport, judo and taekwondo, basketball, badminton, tennis and athletics.
Sergio Navarro, Councilor for Sports, is very satisfied with the enrollment in the Schools: “We have exceeded all expectations with the novelty added this year of incorporating the badminton modality, so we continue to bet on offering healthy habits for our schoolchildren, without forgetting that the City Council will also subsidize 50% of the cost of the clothes they will wear during the course, just as it did in previous seasons”.
If last year, the number of registrations increased by more than 150 boys and girls, reaching a total of approximately 550, this grows by 83 compared to the previous year, which means that in two years the figure has increased by 223 schoolchildren.
