The regional league game between FC Schalke 04 II and Preußen Münster was stopped after around 26 minutes. A thunderstorm warning ensured that the game was no longer kicked off.

The kick-off of the match between FC Schalke 04 II and Preußen Münster had to be postponed after 25 minutes. Reason: A thunderstorm warning.

This warning should ultimately lead to the game being aborted. Because after about half an hour, exactly in the 26th minute, the Parkstadion had to be cleared. The reason: another thunderstorm warning. “The game was interrupted because the thunderstorm warning system went off. This means that there was an impact within ten kilometers. S04 informed the referee and he reacted accordingly,” it says in the RevierSport live ticker.
