Received three out of three

Three matches, three victories for the U19 women’s national team in the Euro 2023 qualifiers. Les Bleuettes completed the 1st round, organized in Poland, by dominating the Republic of Ireland (1-0), Monday October 10 (photo) .

Already assured of qualification for the 2nd round of the qualifiers for the 2023 European U19 Women’s Championship with two successes against Northern Ireland (5-1) and the Poland (3-1) in the pocket, France achieved the other two objectives it had set for the first round: it signed a third victory in as many matches and thus won first place in its group.

The Habs dominated the Republic of Ireland (1-0) at the end of the day on Monday afternoon on the lawn of the MGKS Huragan in Pobiedziska (Poland). The only goal of this meeting was scored by captain Océane Hurté, on a penalty in the 42nd minute of play.

The draw for the second qualifying round will take place on Wednesday 7 December at 11:00 am at UEFA headquarters in Nyon (Switzerland). The twenty-eight competing teams will be divided into seven groups of four. The seven group winners will get their ticket to the finals in Belgium (July 18-30, 2023). This 2nd round will take place next spring.

France, Poland and the Republic of Ireland qualify for the second round.
