Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-0 in the first half

Real Madrid beat Barcelona in the first half of the El Clasico duel. El Real led 2-0 until halftime.

The ninth week of the Spanish League brings together a duel of two giant Matador teams, Real Madrid vs Barcelona. The match took place at the Santiago Bernabeu, Sunday (16/10/2022) night WIB.

Barcelona’s first opportunity was made in the fourth minute. Raphinha’s long-range shot was caught by Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

Real Madrid threatened again three minutes later. Vinicius kick ball in the penalty box sideways next to the Barcelona goal.

GOL! Real Madrid opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Karim Benzema is the goal scorer.

Starting from a counter-attack, Benzema kicked in the ball throwing Vinicius kick that was blocked by Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Madrid lead 1-0.

Barcelona almost equalized in the 25th minute. Robert Lewandowski’s tap-in ball in front of goal still hit the bar.

GOL! Real Madrid doubled their lead in the 35th minute. This time it was Federico Valverde’s turn to score against Barcelona.

The Uruguayan got a low pass from Ferland Mendy, before sending the ball low from outside the penalty box. The score changed to 2-0 for Real Madrid.

Barcelona tried to catch up before halftime, but their efforts have not yielded results. The first half closed with Real Madrid 2-0 advantage.
