Pujols beat Babe Ruth’s RBI mark

The Dominican Albert Pujols, legend of the St. Louis Cardinalshit his 703rd career home run in the Major Leagues (MLB) on Monday night to surpass Babe Ruth’s RBI mark.

In the top of the sixth inning, “The Machine” punished a broken delivery by Pittsburgh Pirates starter Mitch Keller to line the ball down left field.

In accordance with Baseball SavantPujols’ connection, with a running mate, posted a 99.4 mph exit speed and traveled 361 feet at PNC Park.

With his 24th four-corner hit of 2022, the powerful Dominican ballplayer surpassed Babe Ruth’s RBI mark (2,214).

Pujols now has 2,216 career RBIs to rank as the second-most RBI in MLB, behind only Henry Aaron (2,297), according to data from Baseball Reference.
